The high speed and high precision of modern weaving machinery have put forward higher requirements for maintenance and upkeep. Therefore, daily maintenance and upkeep of machines must be consistently carried out in daily production. Good maintenance of machines can bring out their greater potential and achieve greater economic benefits.4.1 Daily Maintenance (1) Remove the cotton fluff and lint attached to the yarn frame and the surface of the machine every shift. (1) Keep the weaving components and winding devices clean.(2) Check the self-stop device and safety device every shift. If any abnormality is found, disassemble and repair or replace them immediately.(3) Check the active yarn feeding device every shift. If any abnormality is found, disassemble and repair or replace it immediately.(4) Check the oil level mirror of the large sprocket and the oil level pipe of the oil sprayer every shift. 4.2 Weekly maintenance (1) Clean the aluminum disc for adjusting the speed of yarn feeding and remove the accumulated cotton lint inside the disc. (1) Check whether the tension of the conveyor belt is normal.(2) Check whether the tension of the belt in the transmission system is normal and whether the transmission is smooth.(3) Check the operation of the fabric winding machine.4.3 Monthly maintenance: (1) Remove the upper and lower triangular seats and clear the accumulated cotton lint.(2) Clean the dust removal fan and check if the air blowing direction is correct.(3) Clean the cotton lint in all electrical accessories.(4) Recheck the performance of all electrical accessories (including the automatic stop system, safety alarm system, and detection system).4.4 Semi-annual maintenance: (1) Clean the machine. (1) Thoroughly clean the upper and lower needle discs, including the knitting needles and settling plates. Select all the knitting needles and settling plates and replace them immediately if any are damaged.(2) Clean the oil sprayer and check if the oil passage is unobstructed.(3) Clean and inspect the positive yarn storage device.(4) Clean the cotton lint and oil stains in the motor and transmission system.(5) Check if the waste oil collection oil passage is unobstructed.4.5 Maintenance and care of knitting components: Knitting components are the heart of knitting machines and have a direct impact on the quality of the fabric surface. Therefore, the maintenance and care of the knitting components are of great significance.(1) Clean the needle slots to prevent dirt from entering the knitted fabric along with the needles. The cleaning method is as follows: Replace the yarn with low-grade or waste yarn, start the machine and run it at high speed, and inject a large amount of needle oil into the needle barrel. Keep adding oil while running until all the dirt oil flows out of the slot.(2) Check whether the knitting needles and settling plates in the needle barrel are damaged. If they are damaged, replace them immediately ; If the fabric surface quality is too poor, it should be considered whether to replace all of them.(3) Check whether the widths of the needle slots in the syringe are at the same distance (check if there are straight stripes on the woven fabric surface), and whether the needle slot walls are damaged. If any of the above problems are found, they should be repaired or replaced immediately.(4) Check the wear of the triangles and confirm whether their installation positions are correct and whether the screws are tightened.(5) Check and correct each feed yarn (6) If any wear is found on the installation position of the feeding port, it should be replaced immediately.(6) Correct the installation position of the needle collection triangle of each feeding port to ensure that the length of each coil of the woven fabric is uniform with each other.4.6 Lubrication method, oil used and lubrication execution of the machine (1) Lubrication Method and Oil used the oil level mirror of the large sprocket should be checked every day. If the oil level is lower than 2/3, manual oil addition should be carried out. Use 140# to 160# engine oil. If oil stains or sediment are found during the half-year maintenance, the product should be replaced immediately. The gears of Dading Transmission should be inspected once a month and lubricated with grease. Use No. 4 bentonite grease (commonly known as snow oil). During the semi-annual maintenance, inspect all transmission bearings and add grease. Use high-temperature resistant grease. (1) All braided machine parts (including oil injection for oil sprayers) must be lubricated with special needle oil for high-speed circular knitting machines or special lubricants for disc knitting machinery.(2) Lubrication execution must accurately grasp the types of oil used in each part and the lubrication time, ensuring that each designated part of every machine in the entire factory can receive the specified type and quantity of lubrication within the prescribed time.4.7 Maintenance and upkeep of the power distribution system The power distribution system is the power source of the knitting machine and must be subject to strict regular maintenance to avoid unnecessary malfunctions.(1) Check if there is any leakage of electricity in the machine.(2) Check if the switch buttons have failed.(3) Constantly check if all detectors are safe and effective.(4) Check if there is any wear or breakage in the circuits.(5) Inspect the interior of the motor, clean the dirt adhering to each part and feed the shaft Add oil. 4.8 Precautions for shutdown and storage: Maintain and service the machine in accordance with the semi-annual maintenance procedure, and add lubricating oil to the woven components. Add anti-oil to the knitting needles and settling plates, and finally cover the machine with an oilcloth soaked in needle oil and store it in a dry and clean place.4.9 Storage of machine parts and spare parts. The normal reserve of commonly used and easily worn parts is an important guarantee for the continuity of production. The general storage environment should be a cool, dry place with a small temperature difference. The specific storage methods are as follows :(1) For the storage of syringes and needle discs, first clean the syringes, add engine oil and wrap them in an oilcloth, then place them in a wooden box to avoid damage and deformation. (1) Before use, the engine oil in the syringe should be removed with compressed air. When in use, add needle oil.(2) Storage of triangles: Classify and store the triangles in the warehouse, keep them in boxes and add needle oil to prevent .(3) Storage of knitting needles and sedimentation plates: New needles and sedimentation plates should be placed in the original packaging boxes and the sealing strips should not be removed. -. Old needles and settling plates must be cleaned and inspected. Damaged ones should be sorted and stored in boxes, and needle oil should be added to prevent . Precautions: All knitting components (including knitting needles, settling plates, triangles and syringes) should only be cleaned with knitting oil to avoid affecting the normal performance of other parts of the machine. The spray-type oiling and lubrication system of the circular knitting machine must provide clean, dry and moisture-free compressed air. Therefore, the air compressor unit should be equipped with a water separation and dehumidification device. At the same time, it should be ensured that the high-pressure air output from the pipeline is free of dirt and debris. The time for parts to be stored in the warehouse should not be too long, and regular inspections should be carried out. 4.10 Common problems in weaving production: (1) Holes (i.e., holes) are mainly caused by poor quality roving or overly dry yarn, resulting in excessive yarn tension or excessive winding tension, overly long loops during loop formation, and overly loose woven fabric.
